There are still reasons to give thanks!

2020...
This year especially, a lot of us feel that the list of bad experiences far outweigh the list of reasons to be grateful this Thanksgiving.
Mental mindset plays a huge roll in our happiness. Even if things aren't going the way that they were planned out, there is still always something to be thankful for. It may be hard to find the silver lining, but it is there!
So, instead of focusing on the negative this year- flip the script! Can only visit with family via zoom or on the phone? You GET the gift of spending some time talking with them! Plus you don't even have to clean the house or wear pants- lol. Maybe you are able to slow down and appreciate things around you now. Or maybe you have more time to pick up that hobby or skill you have always wanted to learn or fell away from.
This year we have all had to sit with this uncomfortableness and uncertainty. It will get better. There is light at the end of the tunnel. One step at a time and focus on what you have :)
I am thankful for...
-Loving and supportive parents
-My son who is so kind and is working so hard! I am so proud of him!
-For the opportunity for my son to take classes online
-My family and for working on second chances
-My sirens that go on crazy adventures with me and withstanding the "storms of life and coming out on the other side" ;-)
-Work friends that I am still in contact with
-Violet getting better! And my other fur babies...AND getting to spend so much time with them lately
-Having the time to go after new and exciting careers
-Continuing education with naturalist programs
-Working on digital art, crafting, photography, drone videography
-Deepening my spiritual journey with becoming a certified Evangelist
